Front Desk Admin Team Member - Forest Acres Area!

Location: Columbia, SC

Looking for a new dental home?!

NOW is the time to join our team! David M. Lovit, DMD LLC is looking to add a fun, personable, team player to our family practice!

As a Practice Front Office Admin Team Member, you will be responsible for performing a variety of patient engaging, front office duties. This position requires one to communicate professionally and effectively with patients and co-workers. It also requires excellent time management and organizational skills. The purpose of this role is to engage with patients, answer the practice phone, schedule patients, discuss treatment plans and finance options, verify patient benefits, and accurately collect payments

Position is Monday - Friday.

Pay is dependent on experience!!

**Responsibilities:**
- Greet and check-in patients promptly and professionally
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office's calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient records
- Assist with billing and financial transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area

- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Willingness to work collaboratively with dental staff and support team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs
- Previous experience with Eaglesoft or other dental practice management software is a plus

The ideal candidate:

  • Be detail orientated and organized
  • Have the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Be familiar with Eaglesoft (but not a requirement!)

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 1-year experience working in a dental office. (BUT willing to train the right candidate!)
  • Use of dental/medical technology.
  • Understand basic financial concepts.
  • Understand, calculate and communicate treatment plans.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in person and over the phone.
